5(1)The term of office of members of the Board appointed on a full-time basis is 10 years, and for those appointed on a part-time basis the term of office is a maximum of five years.

5(2)For the purposes of subsection (1), the commencement date of the term of office as a member of the Chairperson or the Vice-Chairperson referred to in subsection 4(6) is the date he or she was appointed as the Chairperson or the Vice-Chairperson under section 4 of this Act as it existed immediately before the commencement of this section.

5(3)Each member may be reappointed as a member for no more than three terms, each of which is a maximum of five years.

5(4)Subject to section 5.3, a member shall hold office until the earliest of the following events:

5(1)The members of the Board shall be appointed for a term of ten years.

5(2)For the purposes of subsection (1), the commencement date of the term of office as a member of the Chairperson or the Vice-Chairperson referred to in subsection 4(6) is the date he or she was appointed as the Chairperson or the Vice-Chairperson under section 4 of this Act as it existed immediately before the commencement of this section.

5(3)A member may be reappointed as a member for a second or subsequent term of office of five years.

5(4)Subject to section 5.3, a member shall hold office until the earliest of the following events:

5(1)The members of the Board, other than the Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson, shall be appointed for a term of not less than 2 years and not more than 5 years and shall perform their duties on a part-time basis.

5(2)The Chairperson shall be appointed for a term of 10 years and shall perform the duties of the office on a full-time basis.

5(3)The Vice-Chairperson shall be appointed for a term of 7 years and shall perform the duties of the office on a full-time basis.

5(4)The Chairperson is not eligible for reappointment to the Board in any capacity.

5(5)The Vice-Chairperson and members of the Board other than the Chairperson shall not be appointed for more than 2 terms as the Vice-Chairperson or as a member, respectively.

5(6)Each member of the Board shall hold office during good behaviour during the term for which he or she is appointed and may be removed for cause by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council.
