17The following diseases are prescribed as Group I notifiable diseases:
(a) human influenza caused by a new subtype;
(a.1) COVID-19;
(b) poliomyelitis due to wild-type poliovirus;
(c) severe acute respiratory syndrome; and
(d) smallpox.
