An Act to Amend the
Marshland Infrastructure Maintenance Act
Assented to February 11, 2016
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1Section 1 of the Marshland Infrastructure Maintenance Act, chapter 35 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2013, is amended
(a) in the definition “marshland infrastructure” by striking out “Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries” and substituting “Department of Transportation and Infrastructure”;
(b) in the definition “Minister” by striking out “Minister of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries” and substituting “Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure”.
2Section 6 of the Act is amended by striking out “Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries” and substituting “Department of Transportation and Infrastructure”.
3Paragraph 3(1)(f) of New Brunswick Regulation 2013-75 under the Marshland Infrastructure Maintenance Act is amended by striking out “Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries” and substituting “Department of Transportation and Infrastructure”.
4This Act comes into force on April 1, 2016.
