An Act to Amend the
Apprenticeship and
Occupational Certification Act
Assented to June 5, 2015
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1Subsection 46(1) of the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act, chapter 19 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2012, is amended by repealing the definition “journeyperson” and substituting the following:
“journeyperson” means a person who holds(compagnon)
(a) a certificate of qualification or diploma of apprenticeship issued under this Act, or
(b) a valid equivalent to a certificate of qualification referred to in paragraph (a), issued in another province or a territory of Canada.
