1Section 3 of New Brunswick Regulation 84-230 under the Civil Service Act is amended
(a) in paragraph e) of the French version by striking out “ou aux postes” and substituting “ni aux postes”;
(b) by repealing paragraph (e.1);
(c) by adding before paragraph (f) the following:
(e.2) with respect to the temporary or casual appointment of a person to the position of correctional officer for the Department of Justice and Public Safety, the provisions of subsections 17(3), (5) and (6) of the Act do not apply to the person so appointed or to the position to which the person is appointed,
