1New Brunswick Regulation 86-32 under the Financial Administration Act is amended by adding after section 2 the following: 
2.1(1)For the purposes of sections 3 and 6, in addition to the acquisition cost of medication and anaesthetics, the fee related to dispensing medication and administering anaesthetics shall be an amount representing the following proportion of their cost:
(a) if the cost is less than $5, 100%;
(b) if the cost is $5 to $9.99, 90%;
(c) if the cost is $10 to $19.99, 80%;
(d) if the cost is $20 to $29.99, 70%;
(e) if the cost is $30 to $39.99, 60%;
(f) if the cost is $40 to $99.99, 50%;
(g) if the cost is $100 to $499.99, 40%; and
(h) if the cost is $500 or more, 30%.
2.1(2)For the purposes of sections 3 and 6, in addition to the acquisition cost of vaccines, the fee related to administering vaccines shall be an amount representing the following proportion of their cost:  
(a) if the cost is less than $39.99, 50%;
(b) if the cost is $40 to $99.99, 40%;
(c) if the cost is $100 to $499.99, 30%; and
(d) if the cost is $500 or more, 20%.
2Section 3 of the Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing subsection (1) and substituting the following:
3(1)Subject to subsection (2), when the Department receives a request for a veterinarian’s services for a food-producing or fur-producing animal, the fee for the services is the sum of the following:
(a) for the visit,
(i) on or after April 1, 2021, $72.08,
(ii) on or after April 1, 2022, $76.40,
(iii) on or after April 1, 2023, $80.99,
(iv) on or after April 1, 2024, $85.85, and
(v) on or after April 1, 2025, $91;
(b) for each 15-minute period or portion of a 15-minute period spent by the veterinarian on the premises,
(i) on or after April 1, 2021, $25.44,
(ii) on or after April 1, 2022, $26.97,
(iii) on or after April 1, 2023, $28.58,
(iv) on or after April 1, 2024, $30.30, and
(v) on or after April 1, 2025, $32.12;
(c) the fee related to dispensing medication and administering anaesthetics;
(d) the fee related to administering vaccines;
(e) the cost of other materials used or provided;
(f) applicable laboratory fees; and
(g) on or after April 1, 2021, for services provided after 4:00 p.m. and before 7:30 a.m. on Monday to Friday, inclusive, or on Saturday, Sunday or a holiday, including Boxing Day, an overtime fee of $85.
(b) by repealing subsection (2) and substituting the following:
3(2)When the Department receives a request for a veterinarian’s services for a horse or for an animal that is confined in a zoo or wildlife park, the fee for the services is the sum of the following:
(a) subject to subsection (3), for the visit,
(i) on or after April 1, 2021, $83.74,
(ii) on or after April 1, 2022, $88.76,
(iii) on or after April 1, 2023, $94.09,
(iv) on or after April 1, 2024, $99.74, and
(v) on or after April 1, 2025, $105.72;
(b) for each 15-minute period or portion of a 15-minute period spent by the veterinarian on the premises,
(i) on or after April 1, 2021, $52.02,
(ii) on or after April 1, 2022, $53.06,
(iii) on or after April 1, 2023, $54.12,
(iv) on or after April 1, 2024, $55.20, and
(v) on or after April 1, 2025, $56.31;
(c) for a horse vaccination, $17;
(d) for the reproductive ultrasound of a mare, $54;
(e) the fee related to dispensing medication and administering anaesthetics;
(f) the fee related to administering vaccines;
(g) the cost of other materials used or provided;
(h) applicable laboratory fees; and
(i) on or after April 1, 2021, for services provided after 4:00 p.m. and before 7:30 a.m. on Monday to Friday, inclusive, or on Saturday, Sunday or a holiday, including Boxing Day, an overtime fee of $85.
3Section 6 of the Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing subsection (1.1) and substituting the following: 
6(1.1)Despite subsection (1), the fee for the services provided at the Department’s Veterinary Clinic, located at the Veterinary Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick, for a food-producing or fur-producing animal, for a horse or for an animal that is confined in a zoo or wildlife park is the sum of the following:
(a) for each 15-minute period or portion of a 15-minute period spent by a veterinarian for examining, treating or performing surgery on an animal, $57;
(b) for the production of radiographic plates, $44 per plate;
(c) for thermal imaging, $173 per examination;
(d) for shock wave therapy, $173 per treatment;
(e) the fee related to dispensing medication and administering anaesthetics;
(f) the fee related to administering vaccines;
(g) the cost of other materials used or provided;
(h) applicable laboratory fees; and
(i) on or after April 1, 2021, for services provided after 4:00 p.m. and before 7:30 a.m. on Monday to Friday, inclusive, or on Saturday, Sunday or a holiday, including Boxing Day, an overtime fee of $85.
(b) in subsection (4) by striking out “The fee” and substituting “In addition to any other fees, the fee”.
Commencement
4This Regulation comes into force on April 1, 2021.
