Under section 62 of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the Fees in Relation to Highway Advertisements Regulation - Financial Administration Act.
Definitions
2In this Regulation
“Minister” means the Minister of Transportation and includes any person designated by the Minister to act on the Minister’s behalf;(Ministre)
“private advertisement” means an advertisement that is manufactured, installed and maintained in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act, other than an advertisement that is manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister; (publicité privée)
“TOD Major attraction sign” means a TOD Major attraction sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act;(panneau TD d’attraction majeure)
“TOD Regular attraction sign” means a TOD Regular attraction sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act; (panneau TD d’attraction ordinaire)
“TOD Secondary attraction sign” means a TOD Secondary attraction sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act;(panneau TD d’attraction secondaire)
“TOD tourist/visitor information sign” means a TOD tourist/visitor information sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act.(panneau TD d’information touristique)
Fees
3The Minister may charge the following fees under this Regulation:
(a)in relation to a TOD Regular attraction sign or a TOD tourist/visitor information sign
 
(i)for a primary identification sign
 
(A)for manufacture and installation by the Minister
$600.00
 
(B)for maintenance, per year
$100.00
 
(ii)for a follow-up sign
 
(A)for manufacture and installation by the Minister
$210.00
 
(B)for maintenance, per year
$40.00
 
(b)in relation to a TOD Major attraction sign
 
(i)for manufacture and installation by the Minister: reasonable cost to the Province
 
(ii)for maintenance by the Minister: reasonable cost to the Province
 
(c)in relation to a TOD Secondary attraction sign
 
(i)for manufacture and installation by the Minister
$6,000.00
 
(ii)for maintenance by the Minister: reasonable cost to the Province
 
(d)in relation to a private advertisement, for site visit by the Minister upon application
$75.00
Commencement
4This Regulation comes into force on April 1, 2001.
N.B. This Regulation is consolidated to March 31, 2001.
