32(1)The Commission shall, within 6 months after the end of the Commission’s fiscal year, prepare and deliver to the Minister a report consisting of
(a)
a summary of the nature and number of
(i)
filings under this Act or the regulations,
(ii)
registrations under this Act or the regulations, and
(iii)
enforcement proceedings taken under this Act or the regulations,
(b)
a general commentary on the law concerning securities and on the practice and development of that law,
(c)
the audited financial statements of the Commission, and
(d)
other information requested by the Minister or Lieutenant-Governor in Council.
32(2)On receiving a report delivered to the Minister under subsection (1), the Minister shall,
(a)
if the Legislature is in session when the report is received by the Minister, lay the report before the Legislative Assembly, or
(b)
if the Legislature is not in session when the report is received by the Minister, lay the report before the Legislative Assembly within 15 days after the commencement of the next ensuing session.
