Adoption or incorporation of extra-provincial securities or derivatives laws

195.3(1)Subject to the regulations, the Commission may by order adopt or incorporate by reference as New Brunswick securities law all or part of any extra-provincial securities or derivatives laws of a jurisdiction to be applied to
(a)
a person or class of persons whose primary jurisdiction is that jurisdiction, or
(b)
trades, intended trades or other activities involving a person or class of persons referred to in paragraph (
a), or
(c)
securities or derivatives involving a person or class of persons referred to in paragraph (
a).
195.3(2)If the Commission adopts or incorporates by reference any extra-provincial securities laws under subsection (1), it may adopt or incorporate it by reference as amended from time to time, whether before or after the adoption or incorporation by reference, and with the necessary modifications.
