29.1(1)Subject to subsections (2) and (3), the Crown in right of the Province and in every other right is bound by this Act.

29.1(2)This Act does not apply where the tenancy relates to premises developed and financed under the National Housing Act (Canada) and administered by or for the Government of Canada, the Province of New Brunswick, the New Brunswick Housing Corporation or a local government, or any agency of any of them.

29.1(3)This Act does not apply where the tenancy relates to premises owned or controlled by a cooperative incorporated or continued under the Cooperatives Act or to which that Act applies, if the premises are occupied by a member or members of the cooperative.
