Time for payment of fine
81Subject to section 84, a fine imposed on a defendant shall be paid to the office of the court
(a) if the amount of the fine is less than $1,200, within 90 days after its imposition, or
(b) if the amount of the fine is $1,200 or more, within 180 days after its imposition.

Time for payment of fine
81(1)A fine imposed in the presence of the defendant shall be paid to the office of the court within fifteen days after its imposition.
81(2)A fine imposed in the absence of the defendant shall be paid to the office of the court within forty-five days after its imposition.
81(3)Notwithstanding subsections (1) and (2),
(a) a judge may order a time for payment of the fine earlier than that stated in subsection (1) or (2), and
(b) a judge, on the request of the defendant, may extend the time for payment of a fine for a period not exceeding forty-five days.
