Death, resignation or removal of Public Administrator
24On the death, resignation or removal of a Public Administrator, his successor in office, immediately upon appointment and by virtue thereof, becomes administrator of all and singular the estate of every deceased person as hereinbefore mentioned as has been left unadministered by his predecessor, and the estate vested in the Public Administrator so dying, resigning or removed vests in the successor immediately upon appointment, and every such successor immediately upon appointment and by virtue thereof becomes entitled to the possession of all books, accounts, letters, papers and documents of every description used by or in the possession or under the control of any predecessor, relating to an estate administered by him, or to his office of Public Administrator.
