(a)
on the direction of the Minister of Justice and Consumer Affairs, apply for administration in such estates as he may be directed;
(b)
upon being granted letters of administration, carry out the duties of administrator.
19(2)The Public Administrator may act as custodian of the property of deceased persons referred to in subsection 20(1), and shall so act on the direction of the Minister of Justice and Consumer Affairs.
