Procedure on staking for the Crown
46(1)Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act or the regulations, no proceeding is necessary for staking under section 45 except to establish posts and mark boundary lines in accordance with the regulations, to mark on No. 1 post the words “Staked for the Crown” and, within the time limited by this Act for recording a mineral claim, to notify the Recorder of the staking giving the date of staking and a plan of the mineral claims so staked.
46(2)The Recorder, upon receiving a notice under subsection (1), shall enter each mineral claim upon his records as staked in the name of the Crown and shall mark each upon the claim maps in his office with the letter “C”.
