Design of headframe and shaft
182An employer shall ensure that a headframe is
(a)
designed by an engineer,
(b)
constructed in accordance with the plans of the design,
(c)
of sufficient strength to safely withstand all loads to which it is likely to be subjected,
(d)
of sufficient height to provide a distance for an overwind that exceeds the greater of
(i)
twice the stopping distance of the hoist at the maximum speed permitted by the hoist controls, or
(e)
of fire resistive material.
