4.2(1)In order to facilitate the protection, management and scientific study of bobcat, otter, fisher and marten, every holder of a fur harvester’s licence or a minor’s fur harvester’s licence shall, not later than five days after the last day of the open season for hunting, trapping or snaring bobcat, trapping or snaring otter or trapping fisher or marten, as the case may be, deliver to a district ranger office of the Department the entire skinned carcass, including the head and organs, of every bobcat, otter, fisher and marten taken by the holder during the applicable open season.
4.2(2)The Minister shall provide a receipt for each carcass delivered under subsection (1).
4.2(3)A person requesting an export permit authorizing the exportation of bobcat, otter, fisher or marten pelts under paragraph 91(b) or (d) of the Act shall tender a receipt provided under subsection (2) for each pelt for which the export permit is requested.
4.2(4)An export permit referred to in subsection (3) authorizes the holder to export only the number of bobcat pelts, the number of otter pelts, the number of fisher pelts or the number of marten pelts, as the case may be, for which appropriate receipts have been tendered by the holder.
