4.02(1)The holder of a fur harvester’s licence or a minor’s fur harvester’s licence that bears a bobcat authorization shall, immediately on killing a bobcat, if hunting it, or immediately on taking possession of a bobcat, if trapping or snaring it, affix to the pelt of the bobcat a previously unused lock seal bobcat tag issued to him or her.
4.02(2)A person affixing a lock seal bobcat tag shall insert and connect the tag through the eye hole and the mouth of the bobcat pelt and shall completely engage the locking mechanism of the tag.
4.02(3)If the lock seal bobcat tag affixed to a bobcat pelt is not completely engaged, the bobcat pelt shall not be considered to be lawfully tagged in accordance with this Regulation.
4.02(4)Every lock seal bobcat tag that has been used, altered or tampered with in any way is void, and, for the purposes of the Act and this Regulation, a bobcat pelt bearing such a tag shall not be considered to be lawfully tagged in accordance with this Regulation.
4.02(5)No person shall have possession of a lock seal bobcat tag that has been used, altered or tampered with in any way.
4.02(6)No person shall have possession of more than the number of bobcat lock seal tags issued to that person in that year.
4.02(7)No person other than a person to whom a lock seal bobcat tag has been issued shall have possession of an unused lock seal bobcat tag.
4.02(8)No person other than the person to whom a lock seal bobcat tag has been issued shall use the tag.
4.02(9)A person to whom a lock seal bobcat tag has been issued shall not give to any other person, or permit any other person to use, an unused lock seal bobcat tag issued to the person.
4.02(10)No person shall affix, or allow to be affixed, to a bobcat a lock seal bobcat tag other than a lock seal bobcat tag issued to the person who killed the bobcat.
4.02(11)No person shall have possession of a bobcat pelt, whether removed from the carcass or not, unless a lock seal bobcat tag is affixed to the pelt in accordance with this Regulation.
4.02(12)Every lock seal bobcat tag shall be void upon the expiration of the season respecting which it is issued.
