4The following persons are exempt from the provisions of subsection 200.1(6) of the Act:
(a)
a driver of a taxicab while transporting for hire a passenger under the age of 16 years;
(a.1)
a driver of a private passenger vehicle while transporting a passenger under the age of 16 years in the course of providing a vehicle-for-hire service;
(b)
a driver of a bus or a school bus while transporting passengers under the age of 16 years in the course of their duties or employment; and
(c)
a driver of an authorized emergency vehicle while transporting a passenger under the age of 16 years in the course of their duties or employment.
4The following persons are exempt from the provisions of subsection 200.1(6) of the Act:
(a)
a driver of a taxicab while transporting for hire a passenger under the age of 16 years;
(b)
a driver of a bus or a school bus while transporting passengers under the age of 16 years in the course of his or her duties or employment; and
(c)
a driver of an authorized emergency vehicle while transporting a passenger under the age of 16 years in the course of his or her duties or employment.
