8(1)The Minister may issue or renew an agent’s or broker’s licence authorizing the holder thereof to carry on business as an agent or broker.

8(2)An agent’s or broker’s licence shall expire on the thirty-first day of December following the date of issue, if the licence has not been previously suspended or cancelled by the Minister for contravention of the Act and this Regulation.
