10(1)No dwelling may be placed, erected or altered so that it has a ground floor area less than forty-five square metres.
10(2)No dwelling unit may have a floor area less than
(a)
thirty-two square metres, in the case of a dwelling unit in a multiple dwelling containing a combination living room and bedroom with no separate bedroom, commonly known as a bachelor apartment,
(b)
forty-five square metres, in the case of a dwelling unit in a multiple dwelling containing one bedroom, or
(c)
forty-five square metres, in the case of a dwelling unit other than one mentioned in paragraph (a) or (b).
10(3)For the purposes of this section, ground floor area or floor area does not include garages, carports, porches, verandas, breezeways, approach halls or, except for those completely contained in a dwelling unit, stairways.
