60Unless a contrary intention appears, in the computation of time under this Regulation or under an order or judgment of the court,
(a)
if a number of days is prescribed, it shall be reckoned exclusively of the first day and inclusively of the last day,
(b)
if a period of less than seven days is prescribed, holidays shall not be counted,
(c)
if the time for doing an act or taking a step in a proceeding expires on a holiday, the act or step may be done or taken on the next day that is not a holiday, and
(d)
service of a document, other than a claim, counterclaim or third party claim, made after 4 p.m. or on a holiday shall be deemed to have been made on the next day that is not a holiday.
