Farm Credit Corporation
1In this Act, “Corporation” means the Farm Credit Corporation established by the Farm Credit Act, chapter F-2 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1970.

Interest subsidy to farmers
2The Minister of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries
(a) may pay the difference, not exceeding three per cent, between the annual interest of two and one-half per cent and that charged by the Corporation after March 31, 1966, to the farmers of this Province on the capital of loans made to them before April 1, 1978 by the Corporation; and
(b) may in accordance with the regulations, advance money to a farmer by way of subsidy in respect of interest on the capital of loans made to the farmer after March 31, 1978, by the Corporation.

Regulations
3The Lieutenant-Governor in Council may make regulations
(a) respecting the terms and conditions upon which the Minister of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries may advance money under section 2; and
(b) prescribing the method upon which subsidies are to be calculated for the purposes of paragraph 2(b).
