REGULATION 84-16
under the
Expropriation Act

Under section 8 of the Expropriation Act, the Expropriations Advisory Officer makes the following Regulation:
1This Regulation may be cited as the Form of Statement Regulation - Expropriation Act.
2In this Regulation,
“Act” means the Expropriation Act.(Loi)
3In accordance with subsection 8(2) of the Act, where an expropriating authority files a notice of intention to expropriate with the Officer, the form of the statement to be attached
(a) to a copy of the notice of intention being served pursuant to paragraph 8(1)(a) of the Act is Form 2, and
(b) to the notice being published pursuant to paragraph 8(1)(b) of the Act in a newspaper having general circulation in the locality in which the land being expropriated is situated is Form 3.
4In accordance with subsection 8(2) of the Act, where a person files an application for expropriation by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council with the Officer, the form of the statement to be attached
(a) to a copy of the application for expropriation by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council being served pursuant to paragraph 8(1)(a) of the Act is Form 4, and
(b) to the notice being published pursuant to paragraph 8(1)(b) of the Act in a newspaper having general circulation in the locality in which the land being expropriated is situated is Form 5.
5This Regulation comes into force on April 1, 1984.
