REGULATION 84-274
under the
Foreign Resident Corporations Act

  Under section 20 of the Foreign Resident Corporations Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
1This Regulation may be cited as the General Regulation - Foreign Resident Corporations Act.

2In this Regulation
“Act” means the Foreign Resident Corporations Act.
3A fee of two hundred dollars shall be paid by a foreign corporation on the making of an application to operate within New Brunswick as a foreign resident corporation pursuant to the Act.
4A fee of one hundred dollars shall be paid on filing changes pursuant to section 5 of the Act.
5A foreign resident corporation shall pay an annual fee of two hundred dollars on the anniversary date of the issuing of a certificate by the Minister pursuant to subsection 4(1) of the Act.
6A fee of two hundred and fifty dollars shall be paid on filing documents pursuant to sections 7 and 11 of the Act.
7(1)For the purposes of paragraphs 3(1)(f) and 11(a) of the Act, a member of a diplomatic mission signing a certificate shall be
(a) a head of the diplomatic mission, and
(b) duly accredited to Canada.
7(2)For the purposes of paragraphs 3(1)(f) and 11(a) of the Act, a member of a consular post signing a certificate shall be
(a) a head of the consular post, other than an honourary consular officer, and
(b) duly accredited to Canada.
