1Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 81-58 under the Fish and Wildlife Act is repealed and the following is substituted: 
2The following definitions apply in this Regulation.
“camouflage blaze orange” means a camouflage pattern that contains at least 50% of hunter orange.(camouflage orange vif)
“ground blind” means a structure used for hunting that is constructed or manufactured and placed on the ground. (affût au sol)
“hunter orange” means a colour having an “L” value of not less than +55.0 Judd units, “a” values of not less than +65.0 Judd units and “b” values of not less than +30.0 Judd units as determined by a HunterLab colour measuring instrument.(orange phosphorescent)
“tree stand” means a platform or structure used for hunting that is constructed or manufactured and placed in a tree, or any other elevated structure, and includes all posts, poles and ladders and any other materials that are part of the stand. (plateforme d’affût)
2Section 3 of the Regulation is repealed and the following is substituted: 
3(1)When hunting or being a licensed guide accompanying any person engaged in hunting, every person shall wear
(a) a solid hunter orange hat, and
(b) above the waist, a solid hunter orange or a camouflage blaze orange exterior garment of which not less than 2 580 cm² in total is exposed to view and clearly visible from all directions.
3(2)Subsection (1) does not apply to a person who hunts antlered deer or antlerless deer with a bow or crossbow during the period of three consecutive weeks beginning on the first Monday in October when the person is hunting from a tree stand or ground blind.
