REGULATION 2021-51

Education Act

1Section 22 of New Brunswick Regulation 2001-48 under the Education Act is repealed and the following is substituted: 
22The following school districts are prescribed for the purposes of subsection 36.2(3) of the Act: 
(a) Anglophone North School District;
(b) Anglophone East School District;
(c) Anglophone South School District;
(d) Anglophone West School District;
(e) Francophone nord-ouest school district;
(f) Francophone nord-est school district; and
(g) Francophone sud school district.
2Section 25 of the Regulation is amended by adding after subsection (2) the following: 
25(3)Despite paragraph (1)(a), the District Education Council elected in 2021 shall hold its first regular meeting during the month of August of the same year.
3Subsection 29(1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “if any,”.
4This Regulation comes into force on August 1, 2021.
