1Section 3 of New Brunswick Regulation 91-67 under the Victims Services Act is repealed and the following is substituted: 
3For the purposes of subsection 15(2) of the Act, the surcharge referred to in subsection 15(1) of the Act that is payable by a person is an amount equal to 20% of
(a) a fine or money penalty imposed when a person is convicted of an offence under an Act of the Legislature or a regulation under an Act of the Legislature,
(b) a payment made under an Act of the Legislature or a regulation under an Act of the Legislature, on which payment the person is deemed to have been convicted of an offence,
(c) the combined total of the fine or money penalty described in paragraphs 14(5)(a) and (b) of the Provincial Offences Procedure Act when a person makes a payment in accordance with subsection 14(1) or (2) of that Act in respect of an offence charged in a ticket served on the person under that Act, or
(d) the combined total of the fine or money penalty described in paragraphs 16.8(3)(a) and (b) of the Provincial Offences Procedure Act when a person makes a payment in accordance with subsection 16.8(1) or (2) of that Act in respect of an offence charged in a violation ticket served on the person under that Act.
2This Regulation comes into force on March 2, 2020.
