1Section 8 of New Brunswick Regulation 94-33 under the Mental Health Act is amended
(a) in subsection (4) by striking out “three years” and substituting “five years”;
(b) by adding after subsection (4) the following:
8(4.1)Despite the expiry of his or her term, a member of a tribunal shall remain in office until the member resigns or is reappointed or replaced.
2Subsection 20.1(1) of the Regulation is amended
(a) by adding after paragraph (a) the following:
(a.1) if the member is a psychiatrist, $250 for each hour of sitting in a hearing and, for preparation time, an additional $250 for each day of sitting in a hearing;
(b) in paragraph (b) by striking out “a psychiatrist or”.
