1Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 91-83 under the Inshore Fisheries Representation Act is repealed and the following is substituted:
2 An inshore boat shall have the following characteristics:
(a) in Region 1 and Region 2 it
(i) has a length of less than 15.2 metres (50 feet),
(ii) is used mainly for fishing lobster or herring,
(iii) is not used more than occasionally for fishing smelt, rock crab, tuna, mackerel, capelin, Irish moss, scallops, sea urchin, dogfish or groundfish, and
(iv) is not a crab boat, shrimp boat or super-44 groundfish boat;
(b) in Region 3, it has a length of not more than 15.2 metres (50 feet); and
(c) in Region 4 it
(i) has a length of not more than 15.2 metres (50 feet), and
(ii) is used mainly for fishing lobster.
2This Regulation comes into force on August 1, 2017.
