1Section 14 of New Brunswick Regulation 84-20 under the Medical Services Payment Act is amended by adding after subsection (4) the following:
14(4.1)Despite paragraph (4)(a), the amounts payable by the Medicare Branch for gender confirming surgeries that are entitled services and that are rendered in Canada outside the Province shall be at the negotiated rate.
2Schedule 2 of the Regulation is amended by repealing paragraph (p).
