1The enacting clause of New Brunswick Regulation 84-176 under the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act is repealed and the following is substituted:
Under section 40 of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
2Section 2 of the Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing the definition “ANSI”;
(b) in the definition “Gas Board” by striking out “section 27.1” and substituting “section 28”.
3Section 6 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “ANSI standards and”.
4Subsection 9(3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “and the Chief Inspector’s decision is final”.
5Section 18 of the Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing subsection (2);
(b) by repealing subsection (2.1).
6Section 18.1 of the Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing subsection (1);
(b) by repealing subsection (1.1).
7The heading “BOILER INSPECTORS AND INSPECTIONS” preceding section 24 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “BOILER INSPECTORS AND”.
8Section 24 of the Regulation is repealed.
9Section 26 of the Regulation is repealed.
10Section 33 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “and produces on demand”.
11Section 34 of the Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing subsection (2);
(b) by repealing subsection (3).
12This Regulation comes into force on October 1, 2014.
