1New Brunswick Regulation 2007-4 under the Energy and Utilities Board Act is amended by adding after section 1 the following:
Definition of “Act”
1.1In this Regulation, “Act” means the Energy and Utilities Board Act.
2The Regulation is amended by adding after section 4 the following:
Matters that may be determined by one member of the Board
5For the purposes of paragraph 27.1(1)(k) of the Act, any matter that relates to Part 7 of the Electricity Act or the regulations relating to that Part, including, without limitation, the following, is a matter that may be heard, determined or otherwise dealt with by one member of the Board:
(a) the approval of reliability standards or of modifications to approved reliability standards, or the retirement of approved reliability standards,
(b) the monitoring and assessment of compliance with approved reliability standards or the enforcement of approved reliability standards, and
(c) the registration of owners, operators or users or the bulk power system, including appeals from registration requirements.
3This Regulation comes into force on November 4, 2013.
