1Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 81-134 under the Family Services Act is amended
(a) in Form 1.02 by striking out “an appropriate employee authorized by the Minister” and substituting “an appropriate person authorized by the Minister”;
(b) in Form 1.1 by striking out “an appropriate employee authorized by the Minister” and substituting “an appropriate person authorized by the Minister”;
(c) in Form 2
(i) by striking out “an appropriate employee authorized by the Minister” and substituting “an appropriate person authorized by the Minister”;
(ii) by repealing section 12 and substituting the following:
12. Minister’s Liability
It is understood and agreed by the Parent(s) that, except where the Minister or any appropriate person authorized by the Minister under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act is negligent, the Minister or the appropriate person shall not be subject to an attachment, action, suit, fine or imprisonment for or by reason of any act or thing done by the Minister or the appropriate person under and by virtue of this Agreement.
(d) in Form 3 by striking out “an appropriate employee authorized by the Minister” and substituting “an appropriate person authorized by the Minister”;
(e) in Form 4 by striking out “an appropriate employee authorized by the Minister” and substituting “an appropriate person authorized by the Minister”;
(f) in Form 12.2
(i) by striking out “an authorized employee under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act (“the Minister”)” and substituting “an appropriate person authorized by the Minister under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act (“the Minister”)”;
(ii) by striking out “An authorized employee under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act” and substituting “An appropriate person authorized by the Minister under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act;
(g) in Form 12.3 by striking out “An authorized employee under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act” and substituting “An appropriate person authorized by the Minister under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act;
(h) in Form 12.4 by striking out “An authorized employee under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act” and substituting “An appropriate person authorized by the Minister under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act;
(i) in Form 16
(i) by striking out “an appropriate employee of the Department of Social Development authorized in writing by the Minister under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act” and substituting “an appropriate person authorized by the Minister under paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Family Services Act;
(ii) by striking out “signature of employee” and substituting “signature of appropriate person”;
(j) in Form 29 by striking out “an appropriate employee authorized by the Minister” and substituting “an appropriate person authorized by the Minister”.
