1Section 24 of New Brunswick Regulation 95-61 under the Family Income Security Act is amended
(a) in subsection (1) by striking out “a Chairperson, a Vice-Chairperson” and substituting “a Chair, one or two Vice-Chairs”;
(b) in subsection (2) by striking out “the Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson” and substituting “the Chair and any Vice-Chair”;
(c) in subsection (3) of the English version by striking out “as the Chairperson, as the Vice-Chairperson” and substituting “as the Chair, as a Vice-Chair”;
(d) in subsection (4) by striking out “The Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson” and substituting “The Chair and any Vice-Chair”;
(e) in subsection (5) by striking out “the Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson” and substituting “the Chair and any Vice-Chair”;
(f) in subsection (6) by striking out “The Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson” and substituting “The Chair, any Vice-Chair”;
(g) by repealing subsection (7) and substituting the following:
24(7)In the case of the absence, illness or temporary incapacity to act of the Chair of the Board, the Vice-Chair designated by the Chair shall exercise the powers and functions of the Chair for the period of the Chair’s absence, illness or temporary incapacity to act.
2Section 26 of the English version of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Chairperson” and substituting “Chair”.
3Section 27 of the Regulation is amended
(a) in subsection (1) of the English version by striking out “Chairperson” wherever it appears and substituting “Chair”;
(b) in subsection (2) of the English version by striking out “Chairperson” and substituting “Chair”;
(c) in subsection (4) of the English version by striking out “Chairperson” and substituting “Chair”;
(d) by repealing subsection (5) and substituting the following:
27(5)The Board may hold concurrent hearings with the Chair of the Board presiding at one such hearing and any Vice-Chair presiding at another.
(e) by repealing subsection (6) and substituting the following:
27(6)A Vice-Chair who presides at a concurrent hearing shall be deemed to be the Chair for the purpose of that hearing.
4Section 28(1) of the English version of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Chairperson” and substituting “Chair”.
5Section 29 of the English version of the Regulation is amended
(a) in subsection (3) by striking out “Chairperson” and substituting “Chair”;
(b) in subsection (4) by striking out “Chairperson” and substituting “Chair”;
(c) in subsection (5) by striking out “the Chairperson may, in the Chairperson’s discretion” and substituting “the Chair may, in the Chair’s discretion”.
