REGULATION 2011-50

Municipal Elections Act

1New Brunswick Regulation 2008-26 under the Municipal Elections Act is amended in section 5
(a) in subparagraph (b)(iv) by striking out “for each mobile polling station” and “of the facility” and substituting “for each additional poll at a treatment centre” and “of the centre” respectively.
(b) by adding after subparagraph (b)(iv) the following:
(v)for an additional poll held at any other location
the amount actually and reasonably incurred, as supported by original receipts or invoices
(c) by repealing paragraph (h) and substituting the following:
(h)for each poll official at an ordinary or advance poll, other than a poll supervisor
 
 
 
(i)for all services rendered on an ordinary or an advance polling day
$15 per hour, to a maximum of $150 per day
 
(ii)for being on standby to work on an ordinary or an advance polling day
$15 per hour, to a maximum of $150 per day
 
(iii)for attending all required training sessions
$35
(d) in paragraph (j), by striking out “special ballot officer” and substituting “special voting officer”.
