Offences respecting season, licence, method, amount, poison
32(1)Every person commits an offence who
(a)
hunts a moose, deer or bear during the closed season;
(b)
hunts a moose, deer or bear without being the holder of a valid licence issued by the Minister;
(c)
hunts a moose, deer or bear by means of a trap or snare;
(d)
hunts, traps, snares or angles for more than the number of animals, birds or fish of a species of wildlife or fish, other than a moose, deer or bear, that the person is authorized to hunt, trap, snare or angle for under the licence issued to the person by the Minister;
(d.1)
hunts for more than the number of moose, deer or bear that the person is authorized to hunt for under the licence issued to the person by the Minister; or
(e)
kills or attempts to kill any wildlife or fish by the use of poison.
32(2)Paragraph (1)(
e) does not apply to a person who uses or applies a pesticide in accordance with the
Pesticides Control Act.
