Duty of peace officers to notify Chief Coroner
5.1A peace officer shall immediately notify the Chief Coroner of the facts and circumstances relating to the death of a person who dies
(a)
as a result of the use of force by a peace officer while on duty, or
(b)
while detained by or in the custody of a peace officer.
