23(1)The head of a public body may refuse to disclose information to an applicant if disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm relations between the Province of New Brunswick or a government body and any of the following or their agencies:
(a)
the Government of Canada;
(b)
the government of another province or territory of Canada;
(c)
a local public body;
(d)
the government of a foreign country or of a state, province or territory of a foreign country;
(e)
an organization representing one or more governments;
(f)
an international organization of states.
23(2)The head of a public body shall not disclose information referred to in subsection (1) without the consent of
(a)
the Attorney General, if the information is law enforcement information, or
(b)
the Lieutenant-Governor in Council for any other type of information.
