44(1)The Minister may disclose registration information without the consent of an individual to whom the information relates
(a)
to a public body for the purpose of verifying the accuracy of registration information held by the public body, or
(b)
with the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, to a public body on the terms or conditions that the Lieutenant-Governor in Council may determine.
44(2)With the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, the Minister may enter into agreements for the sharing of registration information without the consent of the individual to whom the information relates with
(a)
the Government of Canada or the government of a province or territory of Canada, or
(b)
a person or body designated in the regulations.
44(3)An agreement made under subsection (2) shall specify that the party to whom the registration information is disclosed shall use the information only for the purposes specified in the agreement.
