21A custodian who has obtained an individual’s consent to the collection, use or disclosure of the individual’s personal health information or who has received a copy of a document purporting to record the individual’s consent to the collection, use or disclosure of the information is entitled to assume that the consent fulfils the requirements of this Act and the individual has not withdrawn it, unless it is not reasonable in the circumstances to make the assumption.
