Private passenger vehicle
46(1)Any private passenger vehicle owned by a non-resident and duly and fully registered in his home province or state may be operated on the highways of the Province without being registered in the Province.
46(2)The provisions of subsection (1) do not apply to a private passenger vehicle owned or operated by
(a)
a non-resident who enters the Province with such vehicle to solicit business and who remains in the Province for more than thirty days during any one year or who uses such vehicle to make deliveries to purchasers in the Province,
(b)
a non-resident who resides or remains in the Province more than six months in any year,
(c)
a non-resident who allows such vehicle to be operated in the Province for a period in excess of thirty days, except as a chauffeur, by a person resident or ordinarily resident in the Province, or
(d)
a non-resident other than one described in paragraph (
a) who is gainfully employed in the Province.
