Proclamation of nomination day
18(1)Within 5 days after the issuance of the writ, the returning officer shall issue a proclamation in the prescribed form which shall state the following:
(a)
the address of an office of the returning officer at which nomination papers shall be filed and the time fixed for the close of nominations, which shall be in accordance with paragraph 13(2)(
c);
(b)
the day on which the ordinary and advance polls for taking the votes of the electors shall be held, and the hours at which the polls shall open and close;
(c)
the time when and the place where the returning officer will add up the number of votes given to the candidates and declare the candidate elected who received the greatest number of votes.

18(2)At least four clear days before nomination day,
(a)
the proclamation shall be published in at least one newspaper circulated in the electoral district, and
(b)
notice of the publication of the proclamation shall be published in
The Royal Gazette.
