Issuance of licence
6(1)On receiving a completed application for a licence, the Minister shall issue a licence to the applicant if the Minister is satisfied that
(a)
the applicant will comply with this Act and the regulations,
(a.1)
the application complies with New Brunswick Regulation 2018-11 under this Act,
(b)
the premises where the facility will operate comply with this Act and the regulations, and
(c)
the services to be provided by the operator comply with this Act and the regulations.
6(2)On issuing a licence, the Minister may impose on the licence any term or condition that the Minister considers appropriate.
6(3)A licence shall be issued for a term of one year.
6(4)A licence shall indicate the following information:
(a)
the name of the operator to whom it is issued;
(b)
the location of the premises at which the facility shall operate under the licence;
(c)
the class of the facility;
(d)
the maximum number of children who may receive services at the facility;
(e)
the ages of the children who may receive services at the facility;
(e.1)
the designation status of the facility, if applicable;
(f)
the expiry date of the licence; and
(g)
any terms or conditions imposed on the licence by the Minister.
