Termination of service
92If any person supplied with electricity by a distribution electric utility fails to pay the amount due for the electricity within the period of one month after the amount becomes due, the distribution electric utility may stop the supply of electricity from entering the premises of the person by cutting off the supply wire or by any other means that it thinks fit and may, despite any contract to furnish for a longer period, recover the amount due from the person up to that time, together with the expense of cutting off the electricity, in any court of competent jurisdiction.
