Forfeiture if ownership not ascertainable
56If any individual, or part or derivative of an individual, of a listed wildlife species or any other thing is seized under this Act or the Provincial Offences Procedure Act and the lawful ownership or entitlement to it cannot be ascertained within three months after the seizure, the Minister may direct that it be disposed of in any manner the Minister considers appropriate and the thing or any proceeds of its disposition are forfeited to the Crown in right of the Province.
