(a)
assign a number to the claim, and mark the number on all forms and documents relating to that claim,
(b)
retain and file the original claim,
(c)
provide a copy of the claim to each claimant or the claimant’s solicitor, and
(d)
provide the claimant with a sufficient number of copies of the claim and of a response (Form 2), marked with the claim number, for service on each defendant at the claimant’s expense.
5(2)A clerk shall not accept for filing
(a)
a claim for money only, if the amount claimed exceeds $20,000 and the claimant has not abandoned the excess,
(b)
a claim for the recovery of possession of personal property only, if the estimated value of the property exceeds $20,000 or if the claimant does not include the estimated value of the property, or
(c)
a claim for both money and the recovery of possession of personal property, if the combined value of the amount claimed and the estimated value of the personal property exceeds $20,000 and the claimant has not abandoned the excess or if the claimant does not include the estimated value of the property.
