26(1)At the first regular meeting of the Board in each year following the election of a member or members, the Board shall elect a Vice-Chair from among its members.

26(2)If the Chair is absent or is unable or refuses to act, or if the office of Chair is vacant, the Vice-Chair shall perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Chair.

26(3)The Vice-Chair shall hold office until a successor is elected.

26(4)If the Chair and Vice-Chair are absent from a meeting of the Board, the members present may elect from among themselves a temporary chair to preside at the meeting.

26(5)A temporary chair elected under subsection (4) shall be deemed to be the Chair for the purpose of section 24.
