Voting at meetings
25(1)Subject to subsection (2), all questions at a meeting of the Board shall be decided by a majority of the votes of the members present.
25(2)A decision made at a meeting of the Board shall require the support of at least one employer representative and one employee representative.
25(3)The Chair shall vote only in the case of a tie.
25(4)The following shall not be permitted at a meeting of the Board:
(a) voting by proxy; and
(b) abstaining from a vote.
25(5)Despite paragraph (4)(b), a member may abstain from voting if all the other members of the Board present at the meeting consent to the abstention.
