Calling meetings
21(1)The following persons may call a meeting of the Board other than an annual meeting:
(a) the Chair or Vice-Chair;
(b) the Secretary-Treasurer with the consent of a member of the Board; or
(c) any 2 members of the Board.
21(2)A meeting of the Board called under subsection (1) shall be held at the time and place determined by the person who called the meeting, and the Chair shall ensure that notice of the meeting is given to the members of the Board.
21(3)The notice of meeting shall include the time and place of the meeting.
21(4)The notice of meeting shall be given orally, either in person or by telephone, or in writing by ordinary mail, fax or e-mail.
21(5)If the notice of meeting is given in writing, it shall be given not later than 7 days before the date of the meeting and shall be sent to the member’s last known address, fax number or e-mail address.
21(6)If the notice of meeting is given orally, it shall be given not less than 5 hours before the time of the meeting.
21(7)In computing the date when notice must be given under this section, the date of giving the notice and the date of the meeting shall be excluded.
