REGULATION 82-79
under the
Workers’ Compensation Act
(O.C. 82-360)

Pursuant to section 6 of the
Workers’ Compensation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:

This Regulation may be cited as the
Exclusion of Workers Regulation -
Workers’ Compensation Act
.

In this Regulation “Act” means the
Workers’ Compensation Act
.

(1)
Subject to subsection (2), an industry is excluded from the scope of Part I of the Act unless it has throughout its operations in the year at least three workers at the same time usually employed therein.

(2)
The fishing industry is excluded from the scope of Part I of the Act except for undertakings in which twenty-five or more workers are at the same time usually employed.
4
Section 2 of Regulation 67-13 under the Act is repealed.
